You smell no fragrance while the settings in the portal show that your scent system should atomise? Perform a scent check!

Through a scent check you’ll find out why you don’t notice the fragrance you should smell. The scent check contains of 4 partial checks: Portal check, LED check, Cartridge check and Atomazation check. See what you can do to optimize your scent experience. 

Check the status of your scent device in the online Scent Portal:

  • Go on your smartphone/tablet/PC to portal.sense-company.com
  • Sign in on your Sense Company portal account.
  • Go to ‘Devices’ and click/tap on the concerning device.
  • Check the colour of the device-button. This can be green, orange or red.

GREEN

GREEN: If the device button is coloured green and displayed with an groenvink-icon, the device is online and works properly. Move on to LED Check (2) .

ORANGE

ORANGE: If the device button is coloured orange in the online scent portal, there is an issue with your scent device. Mostly a hard reset should be enough to get your system up and running again. Pull the electric plug out of the socket and push it back after a few seconds. The device performs a reset and should be working after a short period (around 3 minutes).

If device button turns green after 3 minutes (refresh your screen): device works properly.

If device stays orange after 3 minutes: contact your account manager.

RED

If the device button is coloured red, your scent system is offline. The device has no internet connection.

Is the LED light on the front of the scent system on?

YES: Go to LED check (2)

NO: Check if the electric plug is connected to the socket. Check if the switch is ‘on’.

Is the LED light on the front of the scent system on?

YES: Go to LED check (2)

NO: There is no power on your scent device. Check the power on the electric socket. Check your scent device on another socket. Still not working? Contact your account manager.

Check the LED light on the right front of the scent device.  Five possible status indications:

  1. LED  fade in/ fade outuit (breathing): device status OK. Go to Atomization check (3).
  2. LED UIT: No Power. Check the power on the electric socket. Check your scent device on another socket.
  3. LED Slowly blinking: device loading modus. Device tries to connect to internet. Wait for approximatly 3 minutes to continue.
  4. LED Fastly blinking: ERROR. Check online portal to see status. (1) Portal check.
  5. LED continiously on: device needs reset. Pull the electric plug out of the socket and push it back after a few seconds. The device performs a reset and should be working after a short period (around 3 minutes).

Cartridge 400ML

Check atomization on the upper site of the scent cartrige.

  • Remove black plug on the upper site from the scent cartridge
  • Remove black metal cap from the scent machine.
  • Check the atomization from the cartridge during interval (on). If no/hardly no atomization during interval (on): contact your account manager.

When cartridge is connected to a PE scent tube 8-6ml: check atomization at the end of the tube during interval (on). If no/hardly no atomization during interval (on): contact your account manager.

Cartridge 2000ML

Check atomiztion on the upper site of the scent cartridge.

  • Remove black plug with connected PE scent tube 8-6mm from the black end cap on top of the 2000ml scent cartridge.
  • Check the atomization from the cartridge during interval (on). If no/hardly no atomization during interval (on): contact your account manager.
  • Put black plug with connected PE scent tube 8-6mm back on the black end cap on top of the 2000ml scent cartridge.
  • Check the atomization from the end of the PE scent tube 8-6mm during interval (on). If no/hardly no atomization during interval (on): contact your account manager.

Cartridge 400ML

Beware: always keep cartridge directly straight to avoid scent oil leakage.

  • Remove black plug from the upper site of the scent cartridge
  • Remove black metal cap from the scent machine.
  • Pull the cartridge (400ml) from the device.
  • Check oil filling. If empty: order new cartridge.
  • Check cartridge cap on bursts. If leakage: contact account manager.
  • Check air supply tube consistancy. If loose: contact account manager.

If cartrtidge still filled and in good condition: go to atomization check (4)

Cartridge 2000ML

Check cartridge fill level. If less than 10%: order new scent cartridge.

Check black cap on top of the 2000ml cartridge:

  • Remove black plug from the upper site of the scent cartridge
  • Remove 6-6mm connector with PE 6-4mm tube from air supply tube. Push colloured edge of the connector to remove connector.
  • Wind the black cap from the 2000ml cartridge
  • Check black cap on bursts. If leakage: renew black cap.
  • Check air supply tube consistancy. If loose: renew black cap

If cartrtidge still filled and in good condition: go to atomization check (4)
