How do I change a scent cartridge?

Swapping out a scent cartridge is very simple and can be done in no time!

Please note: Never transport your scent device with the scent cartridge inside, as this could cause leaks.

The steps you need to follow may vary slightly depending on the type of installation at your location. We've outlined the following for you:

Is your system a 'stand-alone' unit in the room? If so, follow these steps:

  1. Open the cover of your scent device.
  2. Remove the old cartridge from the device and store it properly if there is still scent oil inside.
  3. Remove the safety cap from the new cartridge.
  4. Screw the supplied nebulising cap onto the cartridge.
  5. Insert the cartridge into the scent device with the horizontal air tube fitting into the opening of your scent device.
  6. Place the cover back on your scent device.
  7. Enjoy your new scent!

Is your system connected to a scent line (often a long transparent tube)? If so, follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect the scent line by pulling the round tab on the connector and sliding it off cartridge (see video).
  2. Open the cover of your scent device.
  3. Remove the old cartridge from the device and store it properly if there is still scent oil inside.
  4. Remove the safety cap from the new cartridge.
  5. Screw the supplied nebulising cap onto the cartridge.
  6. Insert the cartridge into the scent device with the horizontal air tube fitting into the opening of your scent device.
  7. Replace the cover on your scent device.

Do you currently have an older model cartridge in your scent device? With the new cartridges (recognisable by the PHUESE logo), you no longer need a separate attachment. Refer to the video below for swapping from an older model to the new model!
